Ladies Golf at Ohope Chartered Club.

The adjunct began in 1995, and currently has 40 members. Any lady who is a financial member of the Chartered Club, and who plays golf, is most welcome to join our happy group.Our aims are to enter the spirit of friendship, and enjoy our golf.

Throughout the year, we play different courses, with the ultimate aim, of playing 7 rounds, in order to qualify to play in the North Island Chartered Club Tournament held in February each year, and the New Zealand Ladies Championship every 2nd year.

You must play off a 36 handicap to be eligible to play in these tournaments. Nett and Stableford scores are documented, and at the end of the year, qualification is based on consistency of scores, and attendance .

The Ohope Ladies adjunct is very proud of their acheivements.2004, Verna Porter and Maureen Corbett won the Championship at Tokoroa 2008, Gail Stables and Karen Pocock won at Waitomo.2010, Gail Stables and Rosalie Wrathall at Oamaru.2012, Gail Stables and Rosalie Wrathall at Weymouth.
