Weekly Update 24th June

Good day everyone

Well that’s the shortest day done and dusted for another year, not to bad at a tropical 17 degrees at the beach and 9.5 hours of daylight, far better than the Scottish shortest day at around 5-6 hours of daylight and a fair bit chillier.

Great weekend if you are a Blues fan, we had a strong turnout on Saturday night for the game, but not the result many were looking for at the Club.

The Quiz is back on tonight, Wednesday, so come on in, have a beer and bite to eat and test your knowledge against your friends and members.  Teams of 8 and 50% of your team will need to be members.

It’s been a busy week at your Club, we have groups coming back, Thursday nights raffle is on with meat packs from Magills who are committed to supplying only the best of New Zealand Hereford Prime Beef, Lamb, Pork & Poultry. Family owned & operated in Te Awamutu, since 1939.

The AGM is fast approaching, 11:00am this Sunday 28th at the Club, the final Audited Financial Accounts are available to view, questions regarding these in writing to myself please.
